ELLIE BIANCA WOMAN: Kylee Roman

At Ellie Bianca empowering women to achieve their greatest dreams has always been at the core of what we do. When women come together, ANYTHING is possible, and over the next few weeks we're excited to share some of the powerhouse Ellie Bianca Women we know and love, starting with local Calgarian Kylee Roman.

Having been closeted for the majority of her life, Kylee is passionate about amplifying voices that tend to get lost or ignored, especially individuals in the queer community. Being part of the LGBTQ2S+ community has heavily influenced Kylee’s passion for uplifting marginalized groups – translating effortlessly into taking part in our Women’s Campaign.

She feels that along with the LGBTQ2S+ community, women need to be equally supported and uplifted!

Q: What does community mean to you and how do you currently support your community?

A: Community is a huge thing for me especially the LGBTQ2S+ community, I think being closeted for the better part of my life has really helped me want to use my position to amplify the voices of the queer community, especially when there’s so much homophobia going around that people don’t talk about. Supporting these amazing organizations that are in the community that haven't been amplified, these voices need to be amplified. We actually just had a fundraiser for Calgary pride hoping to do some more in the future as well.

Q: What does it mean to be part of the Ellie Bianca Woman’s Campaign?

A: Its has been a really humbling experience to be asked to be a part of this campaign especially because there are so many people in the world who need to be lifted up and raised up, especially woman, hello! So, being a part of that has just been really fantastic.

Vulnerable is the word Kylee would use to best describe herself – hiding her identity for a huge part of her life has taught her that people are able to resonate with the trials and tribulations others have been through by opening up and being vulnerable. She now prides herself on being vulnerable!

Q: Share one word to describe yourself!

A: I think the word I would use to describe myself is vulnerable and I haven’t been that way in the past so much and I think with being vulnerable, lots of people can resonate with a lot of the trials and tribulations that you’ve been through, so yeah I pride myself on being vulnerable especially because I haven’t been in the past.

Q: What's your favourite Ellie Bianca Product?

A: Naked Skin Oil!

Thank you to Kylee for being a part of our campaign and showing others what is possible when you're at peace with yourself. Go show this powerful woman some love on our Instagram!
